Meet our sales manager for fisheries and aquaculture, Bertil Oscar Salen
Bertil Oscar Salen has worked with sales and logistics since 2012 and has extensive experience from some of the largest transport companies in the world. For the past 7 years, he has worked to offer products and solutions to various companies in the seafood industry. He works daily to understand the individual customer's product needs, and provides advice for choosing product variants and transport solutions.
Expert in: the whitefish industry, the aquaculture industry, the pelagic industry, as well as shrimp and shellfish.
- I always try to plan deliveries well in advance for optimal shipping solution. This helps to ensure that the customer does not run out of salt, and that the cost level is as low as possible. The service life for purchases and deliveries of salt is long, from the Mediterranean and all the way to our customers. The seasons, fishing and markets can fluctuate, and therefore it is important to always have enough goods for all customers. Otherwise, I always try to be positivte which makes the everyday life of our customers "a little better", he says.

Meet our sales manager for road, industry and food, Andreas Magnus Grimelund
Andreas Magnus Grimelund has worked with sales all his working life and started at Saltimport in 2020. His area of responsibility and expertise deals with salt for roads, food and industry.
- I want to offer added value to our customers beyond competitive prices. I do this through continuous dialogue, suggestions for better logistics solutions and the development of product categories. My goal is to cover the demand for salt that our customers have, through our terminals in Stavanger, Bergen, Ålesund, Oslo, Trondheim, and northern Norway, he says.
He has a daily dialogue with customers to ensure the orders and deliveries go as planned. Challenges in the supply chains globally have resulted in even closer planning with customers, and in this way strengthened his relationship with them.
- Customers should experience me as service-minded and solution-oriented when the need for salt arises, he adds.
