The Portal Is Very Easy to Use
Feedback from our customers shows that the portal is extremely user-friendly. You can log into the portal from your mobile or PC wherever you are, and you don't need to remember a password. You can request a login PIN code as many times as you like. You can order salt whenever and wherever you want. The portal is intuitive and easy to navigate, and it supports both Norwegian and English languages.

How to Order Salt Online for Your Business
By using the ordering portal, you and your company can easily order salt as needed. If you're already a customer, you can log in with your email, and you'll receive a PIN code to log in. You don't need to remember yet another password. You'll remain logged in for 90 days before you need to log in again with a PIN code.
If you have trouble logging in, you can contact us at salt@salt.no or call 55 33 24 00.
If you're not a customer but wish to become one, you can click on "Become a Customer". Fill in the information and verify yourself via your mobile phone. Once the form is completed, it will be sent to us for verification and approval. You can already log in to see our products and request prices.
As a customer, you should be able to order salt entirely on your own, while our customer service team is always ready to help if necessary. Feel free to call customer service at 55 33 24 00 if you need assistance.

Problems Logging into the Portal?
If you have trouble logging in or other issues related to your order, please call us so we can look into the matter as quickly as possible.
Freight and Transport
You can choose to pick up the products yourself or have them transported to you or a specific location. Freight costs are additional, and we'll do our best to find the best freight price for you. If you'd like us to send you a freight quote before you confirm your order, we'll do so.
The final delivery date will be sent via email in the order confirmation.
From our terminals, we deliver to customers via both truck and boat, and in many cases, actually both. You'll receive updates on delivery status from start to finish, and we deliver in bulk, pallets, 1000 kg big bags, and 20–25 kg sacks, depending on the product and your preference.

How to Collect Salt at 24-Hour Self-Service Facilities for Bulk and Brine for Roads
We offer 24-hour self-service for both bulk and brine for roads. If this could be suitable for you and your company, you can easily request this in your customer portal. There, you can order and manage codes for drivers who will collect road salt at Saltimport's 24-hour self-service facilities. In the portal, you can request new codes and keep track of existing ones.

Important Information for Self-Service Customers:
- Code and distribution of codes are your responsibility.
- In case of loss or misuse of a code, you should deactivate it in the portal and notify Saltimport in writing at salt@salt.no.
- Saltimport is not responsible for incorrect use or misuse of the code.
- In the "Code Request" field, register the desired labeling for the invoice, as well as any additional information in the "Extended Description."

How to Collect Salt at the Self-Service Facility:
- Place the truck under the loading belt.
- Enter your code.
- Press Confirm.
- Enter the number of tons of salt desired (e.g., withdrawal of 28 tons = 28, withdrawal of 600 kg = 0.6). Minimum withdrawal at the facility is 600 kg.
- Press Confirm.
- Press Start (Green button).
- Unloading stops automatically when the desired weight is reached.
- When moving the truck or stopping salt withdrawal, please use the Pause button.some text
- DO NOT USE THE EMERGENCY STOP BUTTON; this should only be used in emergencies.
- Please drive the truck away from under the loading belt.
- Avoid spilling salt on the ground during and after filling.
- In case of danger: Press the red emergency button.
- In case of stoppage: Please call the emergency phone – 922 22 082.
- NOTE: Drive slowly and carefully at the terminal. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) is your responsibility. Thank you!
We ask you to inform all drivers who are on the premises to maintain HSE and safety.
Conduct at Self-Service Facilities and Terminals:
- The driver is responsible for their own behavior at Saltimport's terminal.
- Maximum speed is 10 km/h in the area.
- Drivers must be aware of all types of traffic at the terminal.
- No drivers should be within the belt area during filling.
- The driver must park the truck correctly for filling salt.
- Access inside the buildings at the terminal is strictly prohibited for unauthorized persons. Risk of collapse from bulk salt = life-threatening.
- If a truck is already positioned for filling, the driver should queue up.
- Trucks should queue in such a way that they do not block other traffic at the terminal.
- Access inside the buildings and near bulk salt and big bags is strictly prohibited due to the risk of collapse.
- It is recommended that the driver spends as little time as possible outside the truck.
